The National Civil War Museum - Gettysburg & Cost of War Galleries

This gallery highlights Gettysburg, the War's turning point in the East. A large, detailed mural of General Pickett's charging Division and life-size diorama of Captain Cushing's 4th U. S. Artillery places visitors right in the midst of Pickett's famous charge. Further, witness the suffering during the conflict through a hospital tent scene with medical equipment used during the conflict and a surgeon working on a leg amputation.
