First National Bank Museum

First National Bank Museum in Columbia, PA. This bank financed the building of the Wrightsville-Columbia Bridge which was burned in 1863 to prevent the Confederate Army from crossing the Susquehanna River. Marvelous details from the bank's working years survive, such as the tellers cages, President's office and some unique early currency. In addition to its use as a bank, this 1814 townhouse has served as a hotel, tavern and library. Many items look just as they did in the 19th century.
