View from Culp's Hill Lookout Tower

During the Battle of Gettysburgh, Culp's Hill was an important part of the Union Army's defensive line. It dominated the Baltimore Pike, which was critical to blocking the Confederate Army from entering Baltimore and Washington, DC.
